Important anniversaries, team building, stag nights, Christmas parties, hen parties, birthday... whatever sort of group event you have in mind we would be delighted to arrange a special course to suit your needs.
 
You might like to arrange a private group cookery demonstration followed by lunch or dinner. You can choose any area of interest from bread making to gardening and from wine tasting to cordon bleu cooking. Our other facilities - such as a lecture hall or self-catering accommodation - are also available. Or, if you prefer, we can arrange luxury accommodation for you in Ballymaloe House, which is only minutes away.

Example Days

Get in the Kitchen

Duration: 4 hours 45 Mins.

1.45pm  Arrive at Ballymaloe Cookery School for a cup of coffee, tea or elderflower cordial with a little biscuit or slice of cake.
2.00pm  Garden and Farm Tour around our extensive ornamental and production gardens, our farm and glasshouses, often including some small samples along the way - weather permitting.
2.45pm  Cookery demonstration of full 3 course meal with bread and biscuits.
4.00pm Divide into pairs and each group goes to one of our kitchens and makes some parts of the 3 course meal and Bread.
5.45pm Plate up what you have cooked and bring into the dining room.
5:45pm Everyone sits down to Dinner and a Glass of wine.
6.30pm Head off with all the recipes and a souvenir Apron.
 
 

How its Done

Duration: 3 Hours 30 Mins.

2.00pm  Garden and Farm Tour around our extensive ornamental and production gardens, our farm and glasshouses, often including some small samples along the way - weather permitting.
2.45pm  Cookery demonstration of elaborate 3 course meal with Starters, Main course, Desserts and Bread.
4.45pm  Tasting of everything that has been demonstrated.
5.15pm  Head off with all the recipes and a head full of ideas.
 
 
On all classes students recieve all the recipes demonstrated to take away and a tasting of the food cooked.
 
 
Usually the Maximum number of students is 38, however on occassion up to 62 students can be accommodated.
