Lilly Higgins was a guest chef at Ballymaloe Cookery School on 23rd June 2014.
A graduate of the Ballymaloe 12 week certificate course, Cork native Lilly Higgins first received a degree in design before switching her focus to cooking and food. Starting a blog in 2010 she quickly caught the attention of the publishers Gill & Macmillan and shortly after he debut book 'Make, Bake, Love' hit the shelves with her warm and chatty style making baking approachable and fun. Her second book 'Dream Deli' was published in 2013, cementing her status as the girl-next-door who knows exactly how the perfect deli should look, feel, and of course taste.
Lilly is a weekly columnist & photographer for The Irish Times. She had a weekly column with The Sunday Business Post for three years and a monthly column with Easy food magazine since 2010. She writes and photographs food regularly for various national papers, magazines and food producers.
